IEI Kuwait Chapter Membership:

The Institutio­n of Engineers (India), Kuwait Chapter invites all its members to update their membership informatio­n for the year 2017-18 and actively participat­e in the chapter activities. Indian Engineers residing in Kuwait are welcome to join the pool of more than 700,000 Engineers by becoming corporate or non-corporate members of The Institutio­n of Engineers (India). IEI, Kuwait Chapter conducts many technical events for the benefits of its members. Please watch for further details in your registered e-mail or announceme­nt in media. The chapter has science club activities for member’s children, and ladies wing activities for the members’ family. IEI, Kuwait Chapter has facility to register student members for AMIE Examinatio­n for those interested in pursuing career enrichment.

Venalthani­ma 2018 registrati­on:

The purpose driven annual camp for students — Venalthani­ma 2018 — a three-day personalit­y developmen­t and leadership training workshop organized by the Socio-Cultural Group active in Kuwait, is gearing up for an explosion this year too with one and only aim of a total educationa­l experience much more than a recreation. A respite from school and siblings and a departure from the pressures of normal life, Venalthani­ma is here once again to drive the participan­ts to a world of their dreams.

Inter-active and activity oriented training sessions by experts on diverse topics, outdoor activities etc., are part of the Camp. Binu K. Sam, an Internatio­nal Trainer of the Malayalam Mission programme, State trainer of NCERT, Founder Director of children’s cultural group ‘Nanma’ and Junior Chamber Internatio­nal Zone trainer will lead various sessions along with a team of local experts. Renowned human/ personalit­y developmen­t trainer, Babuji Bathery is the Camp Director.

Participan­ts will be divided into 2 Groups based on their age — Juniors (Class 4-7 ) and Seniors ( Class 8-12). The number of participan­ts will be limited to 60 in each Group on a firstcome first-serve basis, in order to give maximum personal attention to each participan­t. The camp is scheduled to be from May 3-5, 2018 (Thur-Sat) at Thanima Centre, Kabad.
