Mnuchin meets UAE officials

WASHINGTON, April 22, (KUNA): US Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin met Saturday with United Arab Emirates Minister of State for Financial Affairs Obaid Humaid Al-Tayer and Central Bank Governor Mubarak Al-Mansoori.

Both sides discussed issues of trade and economy between the two countries. Mnuchin thanked Al Tayer and Al-Mansoori “for their leadership on combating illicit finance and their continued support for the Terrorist Financing Targeting Center (TFTC),” the Department of Treasury said in a statement.
