Gulf Bank honors its football team
Gulf Bank celebrated the triumph of its football team, who were recently crowned champions of the Kuwait Banking Club Football Tournament for the seventh time, after beating Boubyan Bank 2-0 in an exciting final match held at Sabah Al-Salem Stadium of Al-Arabi Club.
The celebration, which was attended by Tony Daher, CEO of Gulf Bank, Mrs Salma Al Hajjaj, General Manager Human Resources at Gulf Bank and a number of senior management and employees of the Bank, was held in recognition of the team’s great efforts and outstanding performance throughout the tournament period that allowed them to take home the trophy.
Post tournament, The Kuwait Banking Club also presented the members of the Gulf Bank’s football team with medals to acknowledge their efforts, and honored the ‘best goalkeeper of the tournament’, Ahmed Abdullah, and ‘player of the tournament’, Meshal Menahi
The league was organized under the patronage of Majed AlAjeel, the President of the Kuwait Banking Association, and the final game was attended by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Kuwait Banking Club Fadhel Al-Mandi, Chief Executive Officer of Gulf Bank, Tony Daher, General Manager of Human Resources at Gulf Bank, Mrs Salma Al Hajjaj, Executive Chairman of Boubyan Bank Abdullah AlTewaijri, General Manager of Boubyan Bank Walid Al-Yaqout, as well as leaders of the banking sector.
