Contractor to use explosives:

The coming days will witness the assignment of a contractor for carrying out the second contract of South Mutla Project which will include the use of explosives to break apart solid grounds for construction of infrastructure for 18,519 buildings, reports Al-Qabas daily quoting a reliable source from Public Authority for Housing Welfare (PAHW). He revealed that this move was agreed on after the contractor faced difficulty in digging some lands in the suburbs.

Meanwhile, another source revealed that the planning and design sector in Public Authority for Manpower has formed a committee presided over by Assistant Undersecretary of the sector Nasser Khuraibet and included a number of engineers as members for reviewing the violations in some parts of South Abdullah Al-Mubarak Project.
