ABK, Fi­na­cle hon­oured for in­no­va­tive Fin­tech ser­vices

KUWAIT CITY, May 7: Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait (ABK), with its bank­ing tech­nol­ogy part­ner Infosys Fi­na­cle, part of Edge Verve Sys­tems, the prod­uct sub­sidiary of Infosys, has won the pres­ti­gious ‘Best Core Bank­ing Ini­tia­tive Ap­pli­ca­tion or Pro­gramme for Emerg­ing Bank in Mid­dle East’ for 2018 at the Asian Banker Fi­nan­cial Tech­nol­ogy In­no­va­tion Awards. The award was pre­sented at a spe­cial cer­e­mony held in Dubai, dur­ing the Fu­ture of Fi­nance — Mid­dle East and Africa 2018 con­fer­ence.

The an­nual awards cer­e­mony cel­e­brates the re­gion’s best bank­ing prod­ucts and ser­vices and is widely re­spected by the bank­ing in­dus­try. The award un­der­lines ABK’s pos­i­tive ap­proach to­wards busi­ness in­no­va­tion and is a val­i­da­tion of the Bank’s com­mit­ment to­wards dig­i­ti­za­tion and setting new bench­marks for cus­tomer ser­vice.

The award was re­ceived by se­nior ABK ex­ec­u­tives led by Salem Hu­sain CTO and Srid­har Ka­si­so­maya­jula CIO of ABK, to­gether with Sri­ranga Sam­pathku­mar, Head of Busi­ness — Mid­dle East and Africa, of Infosys Fi­na­cle.

Work­ing closely with its bank­ing tech­nol­ogy part­ner, Infosys Fi­na­cle, ABK has been able to achieve greater op­er­a­tional ef­fi­cien­cies and ac­cel­er­ated busi­ness growth to its cus­tomers.
