IDAK conducts scientific study club
World Hand Hygiene Day celebrated
KUWAIT CITY, May 10: The Indian Dentists Alliance in Kuwait (IDAK) conducted the Eighth Scientific Study Club in association with Kuwait Dental Association (KDA) and Kuwait Institute of Medical Specialization (KIMS) at the KDA Hall, Jabriya.
The event was attended by more than 160 dentists from all over Kuwait and carried 4 CME points.
The topic for the day was ‘Dental Implants’ on which Dr Prashanthy R. (Periodontist, Al Hekma Specialized Dental Centre), Dr Jayashree Dexith (Oral Surgeon, Al Maidan Dental Clinic) and Dr Dolly Chopra (Prosthodontist, Al Farwaniya Specialized Dental Centre) made in depth presentations.
To mark the World Hand Hygiene Day, which is celebrated on May 5 of every year, guest speaker Mrs Aziza Zaghloul (Infection Control Officer, Taiba Hospital) gave a very beneficial presentation which was followed by an innovative, fun learning initiative organized by the Cultural Committee of IDAK, which depicted the importance of hand hygiene.
The Study Club was well organized by IDAK Scientific Committee headed by Dr Srikanth Reddy with the help of Event Management, Membership and Cultural Committees.
The event was partly sponsored by Catalyst Trading Medical Supplies Co and German Board of Oral Implants.
