A GCC national was arrested for attempting to smuggle 68 packs of cigarettes via Nuwaiseeb border checkpoint by hiding them in the wheels of his vehicle.

Based on the concerned rules, the suspect was referred with his vehicle to the Land Customs Department.

Supervisor of Nuwaiseeb border checkpoint Mohammad Abdulrahman had instructed all border securitymen to check the vehicles that enter and leave Kuwait.

One of the inspectors suspected a vehicle that was in a lot and checked it to find 68 packs of cigarettes in the wheels of the vehicle.
