A Jordanian expatriate was arrested in Salwa area for driving recklessly under narcotic influence and possessing hashish, says Al-Seyassah.
Hawally securitymen were patrolling Salwa area when they noticed a vehicle being driven recklessly. They ordered the driver to pull over and checked his details to discover he is a Jordanian. They checked his vehicle and found two cigarettes stuffed with hashish.
When questioned, he confessed that the two cigarettes belong to him and he is addicted to hashish.
He was arrested and referred to the Drugs Control General Department for necessary legal action.
