IEI Kuwait Chapter Membership:
The Institution of Engineers (India), Kuwait Chapter invites all its members to update their membership information for the year 2017-18 and actively participate in the chapter activities. Indian Engineers residing in Kuwait are welcome to join the pool of more than 700,000 Engineers by becoming corporate or non-corporate members of The Institution of Engineers (India). IEI, Kuwait Chapter conducts many technical events for the benefits of its members. Please watch for further details in your registered e-mail or announcement in media. The chapter has science club activities for member’s children, and ladies wing activities for the members’ family. IEI, Kuwait Chapter has facility to register student members for AMIE Examination for those interested in pursuing career enrichment.

IMA-Summer Islamic classes:
Good News for the expatriate community in Kuwait.
Indian Muslim Association (IMA) announces its much awaited Summer Islamic classes this year on June 17, 2018 immediately after Eid Al- Fitr. IMA with the coordination of IPC, opens the doors of its well-known 2-month long, ‘Summer Islamic Classes’ program to students in Kuwait from LKG up to 12th Standard. Offering a syllabus with a wide range of Islamic subjects such as Quran reading/understanding/memorization, Prophet’s Life and day to day Jurisprudence. Apart from this, teachers work on Personality Development of the students and also engage them in various activities including field visits. Competitions are held on Islamic Quiz, Recitation of Quran and Elocution.
The classes are scheduled to start on June 17, 2018 and will continue until Aug 19, 2018 from 4:00 pm to 6:30 pm on Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday and Wednesday at Indian Community School, Junior Branch, Salmiya, Kuwait.

Brazilian Elections 2018:
In view of the presidential elections on 7th of October 2018 (first round), Brazilian voters in Kuwait are informed of the obligation to re-register at the consular section of the Brazilian Embassy in Kuwait.
In the process of re-registration, the voter must complete the following steps (please pay attention to the deadline of each step):
Step 1 (to be fulfilled until 09/05/2018):
a) fill the form on the website of the Superior Electoral Court (http://www. tse.jus.br/eleitor-e-eleicoes/servicos/ eleitor-no-exterior/pre-atendimentoeleitoral-no-exterior-titulo-net); b) print and sign the form. Step 2 (to be completed by 16/05/2018):
c) attend the consular section of the Embassy of Brazil in Kuwait, which runs from Sunday to Thursday, from 08 am to 12 noon, to present the following documents:
Brazilian official document of identification (identity card, professional card issued by a federal organization, birth or marriage certificate, passport, Brazilian labor ID). Documents must have the following data to confirm one’s identity: name of the father, name of the mother, date and place of birth. In the case the document does not provide the mentioned data, the voter must present another document to complete the information;
Proof or statement that certifies your residence in Kuwait;
Personal attendance is mandatory for finalizing the application.
