KIB marks employees’ IBS graduation
A photo from the event. Kuwait International Bank (KIB) celebrated its employees at the annual graduation ceremony for the Institute of Banking Studies (IBS) for the year 2016-2017. Held under the patronage of H.E. Mohammad Yousef Al-Hashel, Governor of the Central Bank of Kuwait and Chairman of the IBS, the ceremony took place recently at the Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
A total 19 employees successfully completed different levels and training programs offered by IBS, as part of their career development program designed to develop critical skills needed to progress in their given roles.
On his part, General Manager of the Human Resources Department at KIB, Anthony John Erasmus, said: “At KIB, we provide ongoing training and development opportunities to our employees, with the goal of taking them to the next level and equipping them with the tools needed to deliver exceptional banking services. We continue to focus on devoting a major part of our strategic plans to human capital development, as we believe that people are the core component of our strength.”
Erasmus also congratulated the new graduates and wished them best of luck in their careers at KIB. Through its revamped Talent Management Division, the Bank has witnessed positive results and significantly higher engagement across all levels of its departments.
