Property rights body urged:
Director of Property Rights Center at Kuwait Lawyers Association Nour Al-Abdulrazzaq has demanded for the establishment of an independent body concerned with intellectual property rights, patents and trademarks; indicating the biggest intellectual property rights theft is committed by professors and high school students who claim to have done researches copied from the Internet, reports Al Shahed daily.
Al-Abdulrazzaq made the statement in an interview with Al Shahed TV along with Attorney Dr Hessah AlObaid. They talked about intellectual property rights and the need to enact laws which protect these rights.
She disclosed Kuwait is one of the countries on the intellectual property rights violation watch list.
