Four rescued in house fire:
Fire broke out in a house in Ardiya where four persons, a housemaid and three children were trapped, reports Al-Seyassah daily.
Firemen rushed to the location after the Operations Unit in Kuwait Fire Service Directorate (KFSD) received information on the fire incident.
Under the leadership of Lieutenant Colonel Bader Al-Kandari, the firemen were divided into two teams – one took charge of the rescue operations while the other focused on extinguishing the fire.
Initial investigations revealed the fire started on the ground floor and spread to other parts of the house as well as some nearby structures.
The rescue team helped all those trapped inside the house. The team then referred the children and housemaid to the paramedics because they had difficulty in breathing.
A case was registered and investigations are ongoing to determine the cause of fire.
