KUWAIT CITY, May 20: A 1990-Bedoun man, driven by the urge to avenge the murder of his brother 15 years ago, killed the murderer by shooting him with a Kalashnikov rifle in Sulaibiya area.
According to security sources, when the Operations Room of Ministry of Interior received information about a shooting near Sulaibiya Cooperative Society, securitymen headed by Assistant Undersecretary for Public Security Affairs at Ministry of Interior Major General Ibrahim Al-Tarrah rushed to the location with paramedics. They found the victim lying motionless in a pool of blood. Upon examination, it was discovered that the victim, a1985-born Bedoun man, was dead. The corpse was referred to the Forensics Department.
Securitymen later discovered that the suspect, a 1990-born Bedoun man, had surrendered himself at Firdous Police Station with a Kalashnikov rifle which he used to murder the victim.
During interrogations, it was discovered that the deceased had killed the suspect’s brother 15 years ago in Sulaibiya Block 3, and was sentenced to seven-year imprisonment.
After the deceased was released from prison, the suspect followed him for several days and tried to murder him but did not find a chance to do so. On the third day of Ramadan, the deceased parked his vehicle in the parking area of Sulaibiya Cooperative Society and went to a nearby tailor shop. The suspect followed him and then shot him inside the shop, shouting that this was in revenge for the death of his brother.
A case of intentional murder was filed against the suspect and he was referred to the Public Prosecution.
2 births at exams:
The examination rooms at the Faculty of Law at the Kuwait University witnessed two births during the final exams, reports Al-Jarida daily.
Two students reportedly went into labor but nurses were on hand to assist them until they were rushed to the hospital in an ambulance.
5,879 expats deported:
Health Minister Dr. Basel Al-Sabah said 5,879 expatriates have been deported from the country from 2016 until May 2018 due to infectious diseases, reports Al-Shahed daily.
The Minister, in response to a parliamentary query raised by MP Jama’an Al-Harbash, said the deportees included 576 persons with AIDS, 244 suffering from filarial, 2,068 cases of tuberculosis, in addition to 2,991 cases of hepatitis.
The minister disclosed 18 lawsuits were filed against the Ministry on the issue of health condition of migrant workers and after submitting concrete evidences the final rulings were issued in favor of the Ministry.

Security campaigns launched by officers from the Public Security sector in Jahra and Ahmadi governorates resulted in the issuance of 263 citations, arrest of 33 reckless drivers and confiscation of their vehicles.
According to security sources,
patient after an application is submitted to the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health.
If the Undersecretary agrees, a direct letter will be sent to the health office outside the country for reexamination. If the examination proves negative, the Health Undersecretary will address the competent authorities to lift the ban.

evicted:
Capital Municipality Emergency Team has evicted bachelors from 55 buildings in line with Law No.125/2008.
Public Relations Department of Kuwait Municipality stated several complaints concerning bachelors were dealt with when the team was conducting the “Contact us Campaign”. Statement indicated monitoring authorities at the branches of the Municipality in all six governorates
were ready for the massive inspection campaign to demolish encroachments on public property, billboards and open spaces, while monitoring street hawkers and other unauthorized use of roadsides such as abandoned vehicles. The officials will also follow up the cleaning companies to see the rate at which they abide by the contracts signed with the municipality, in addition to petitions from the populace via social media during and after Ramadan.
Meanwhile, emergency team leader Zaid Al-Enezi noted the inspectors dealt with 2008 complaints concerning bachelors and carried out investigations in 130 buildings of which 22 responded and confirmed they were family buildings. The remaining 108 have yet to respond in that concern.
Director of Ahmadi Municipality Engineer Saud Al-Dabbous disclosed
that officials embarked on an inspection tour of some shops within the governorate to verify the validity of external advertisements and spaces opposite the shops. The campaign led to the issuance of 66 citations and closure of 7 shops.
Engineer Al-Dabbous explained that citations were issued for failure to maintain external billboards or installing or adding billboards for other activities without authorization.
Deportation for drunkard:
The Jahra police have arrested a young Asian man for consuming alcohol and sleeping in an open area, reports Al-Anba daily.
The daily said the arrest came after a Kuwaiti saw the man fast asleep near a power transformer and called the Operations Room of the Ministry of Interior.
