New organizational structure of PART to be executed after Eid

‘Remove all obstacles to railway project’

KUWAIT CITY, June 9: The new organizational structure of the Public Authority for Roads and Transportation (PART) will be implemented after Eid Al-Fitr, upon obtaining final approval from the Civil Service Commission (CSC), reports Al-Anba daily quoting a reliable source.

On the other hand, the Cabinet has instructed PART, Public Authority for Agricultural Affairs and Fish Resources (PAAAFR), Public Authority for Partnership Projects (PAPP), Ministry of Finance and Kuwait Municipality to remove all obstacles to the railway project. The Cabinet said the obstacles include farms along the railway site, affirming the owners of these farms will receive compensation.

Meanwhile, Ministry of Public Works intends to appoint three new assistant undersecretaries following Eid Al-Fitr holidays after receiving the approval of the Cabinet and Civil Service Commission (CSC), reports Al-Anba daily.

According to a reliable source, the assistant undersecretaries to be appointed are Anwar Al-Mulla for Road Planning Sector, Ayman Al-Mousawi for Constructional Design Sector, and Abdulaziz Al-Sabah for the Maintenance Sector of the Capital Governorate.

The source said the ministry is currently preparing lists of undersecretaries who will be referred for retirement and of a number of directors who will be fixed in their positions after Eid Al-Fitr holidays.
