New organizati­onal structure of PART to be executed after Eid

‘Remove all obstacles to railway project’

KUWAIT CITY, June 9: The new organizati­onal structure of the Public Authority for Roads and Transporta­tion (PART) will be implemente­d after Eid Al-Fitr, upon obtaining final approval from the Civil Service Commission (CSC), reports Al-Anba daily quoting a reliable source.

On the other hand, the Cabinet has instructed PART, Public Authority for Agricultur­al Affairs and Fish Resources (PAAAFR), Public Authority for Partnershi­p Projects (PAPP), Ministry of Finance and Kuwait Municipali­ty to remove all obstacles to the railway project. The Cabinet said the obstacles include farms along the railway site, affirming the owners of these farms will receive compensati­on.

Meanwhile, Ministry of Public Works intends to appoint three new assistant undersecre­taries following Eid Al-Fitr holidays after receiving the approval of the Cabinet and Civil Service Commission (CSC), reports Al-Anba daily.

According to a reliable source, the assistant undersecre­taries to be appointed are Anwar Al-Mulla for Road Planning Sector, Ayman Al-Mousawi for Constructi­onal Design Sector, and Abdulaziz Al-Sabah for the Maintenanc­e Sector of the Capital Governorat­e.

The source said the ministry is currently preparing lists of undersecre­taries who will be referred for retirement and of a number of directors who will be fixed in their positions after Eid Al-Fitr holidays.
