CSRSIR to summon old Bedoun oil sector employees
Move to update data to include them in naturalization list
KUWAIT CITY, June 14: The Central System for Remedying the Status of Illegal Residents (CSRSIR) will soon summon old Bedoun oil sector employees and those part of the 1965 Census who served for more than 30 years in order to update their data and include them on the list of those eligible for naturalization, reports Al-Shahed daily quoting sources.
Sources added the CSRSIR will also summon those found to be holding citizenship documents issued by other countries as they will be given a chance to correct their status or they will be referred to the Public Prosecution for forgery.
Sources explained the CSRSIR will grant anyone who corrects his status the right to obtain Article 24 residency; which means he will sponsor himself and then enjoy free education and medical services.
