CSRSIR to sum­mon old Be­doun oil sec­tor em­ploy­ees

Move to up­date data to in­clude them in nat­u­ral­iza­tion list

KUWAIT CITY, June 14: The Cen­tral Sys­tem for Rem­e­dy­ing the Sta­tus of Il­le­gal Res­i­dents (CSRSIR) will soon sum­mon old Be­doun oil sec­tor em­ploy­ees and those part of the 1965 Cen­sus who served for more than 30 years in or­der to up­date their data and in­clude them on the list of those el­i­gi­ble for nat­u­ral­iza­tion, re­ports Al-Sha­hed daily quot­ing sources.

Sources added the CSRSIR will also sum­mon those found to be hold­ing cit­i­zen­ship doc­u­ments is­sued by other coun­tries as they will be given a chance to cor­rect their sta­tus or they will be re­ferred to the Pub­lic Pros­e­cu­tion for forgery.

Sources ex­plained the CSRSIR will grant any­one who cor­rects his sta­tus the right to ob­tain Ar­ti­cle 24 res­i­dency; which means he will spon­sor him­self and then en­joy free ed­u­ca­tion and med­i­cal ser­vices.
