Director expresses happiness over the success of ‘Hesa Pen’

Free tickets offered ‘For Women Only’

KUWAIT CITY, June 14: Director Manal Abdal expressed happiness over the success of the series, “With Hesa Pen,” shown on satellite television channels and social media platforms especially YouTube and Twitter, reports Al-Seyassah daily.

In his interview with the daily, Abdal pointed out that the series became the top trending topic in various social networking sites.

He revealed that he received two Best Director awards for this artistic work, affirming he is honored to be at the helm of the project and he is very proud of the outcome of such an experiment.

Meanwhile, Kuwaiti actress Hind Al-Baloushi has devised a new way of promoting her play, “For Women Only’ (Le AlHaraim Faqt), by distributing free tickets to a certain number of viewers as Eid gift (Ediya), reports Al-Shahid daily.

Al-Baloushi posted on her Instagram account a photo of the promo stating, “Today, I will be in the theatre after Iftar and my Eid gift will be tickets for the first four families.”

In the meantime, artiste Weld Al-Deera will be part of the Emirati comedy play, “Snaptchiya,” reports Al-Seyassah daily.

Hammed Fares wrote the script for the play which is under the direction of Mubarak Mashi.

The play will be shown on the first day of Eid Al-Fitr at Al-Fujairah Theater in the Ministry of Culture Center in the United Arab Emirates.
