Amir send condolences’ to Omani Sultan:
His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah sent Thursday a cable of condolences to the Sultan of Oman Qaboos bin Said on the death of Shuwana bint Humoud bin Al-Busaidiya.
His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah sent similar cables. (KUNA)
offers Kuwait’s First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Sheikh Nasser Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah on Thursday sent cables of condolences to UAE Vice-President, Prime Minister and Dubai Ruler Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al-Maktoum, and Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
In the cables, the minister expressed his sincere sympathy over the “martyrdom” of four UAE soldiers during the battle to free Hodeidah as part of the “Operation Restoring Hope” to support legitimacy in Yemen, said the Defense Ministry’s Directorate of Moral Guidance and Public Relations. (KUNA)
IHRS helping orphans:
The Arab World Committee affiliated to the Islamic Heritage Revival Society (IHRS) seeks to alleviate the suffering of poor families during the Holy Month Ramadan in tandem with its duty to serve Muslims in the Arab world.
The committee has assisted orphans in Egypt, Palestine, Lebanon, Yemen and Bahrain, and contributed to their education and clothing as well as enrolled them in Holy Quran memorization and recitation programs at specialized centers in those countries.
Head of the committee Fahad Al-Hussainani said, “In these blessed days, the committee is helping vulnerable families and orphans by providing them with new clothes, Eid gifts and food as well as providing the children with school bags, blankets and the like”.
