KIB sponsors Ramadan sports tourney

KUWAIT CITY, June 14: Kuwait International Bank (KIB) was recently honored for its sponsorship of a number of Ramadan sports tournaments. The tournaments included the late Jassim Al-Sharhan Ramadan football tournament, this year’s Al-Qattan tournament, the 2018 Late Abdullah Mishari AlRoudan’s Ramadan Indoor Football Tournament, as well as the 2nd Annahar Ramadan soccer tournament for Newspapers, Magazines, TV Channels.

On this occasion, Manager of the Corporate Communications Unit at KIB, Nawaf Najia, expressed his delight at being honored, saying: “Our sponsorship of the late Jassim Al-Sharhan Ramadan football tournament and Al-Qattan tournament comes as part of our new strategic direction, which establishes us as partners in every aspect of a person’s life; a ‘Bank for Life’. We are on an ongoing quest to engage with all diverse segments of the community, particularly youth. For that reason, we find that it is of the utmost importance that we support sports activities to create a sense of healthy competition during this Holy Month.”

Najia noted that KIB’s unwavering commitment to sponsoring these tournaments over the years is due to their remarkable success, as they are considered some of the most beloved sports events amongst both youth and sports fans during Ramadan. As a result of their immense popularity, the tournaments have solidified their place within the Ramadan campaigns of a number of public and private institutions.
