MADRID, July 4, (Agencies): Cristiano Ronaldo has received an offer to leave Real Madrid and join Italian champions Juventus, a source close to the player told Reuters on Wednesday.

Ronaldo, who joined Real from Manchester United in 2008 for a then world record 80 million pounds ($105.65 million), is the Spanish club’s alltime top scorer with 451 goals in all competitio­ns and has won two La Liga titles and four Champions League trophies with them.

Despite the glut of silverware, however, the five-times world player of the year has had frequent fallouts with Real and has declared on several occasions that he wants to leave the club.

Welsh internatio­nal goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey has not been deterred by Crystal Palace bringing in Spaniard Vincente Guaita, signing a new three year contract with the Premier League club on Wednesday.

The 31-year-old — capped 76 times and a key member of the Wales side which reached the Euro 2016 semi-finals losing to eventual champions Portugal — joined Palace from Wolverhamp­ton Wanderers in 2014.

Barcelona denied on Wednesday that they illegally bought a transplant liver for their former defender Eric Abidal.

Contacted by AFP, a Barcelona court said it had investigat­ed a possible crime of organ traffickin­g for more than a year before deciding not to proceed because of a lack of evidence.

Inter Milan has Argentina forward Martinez from Racing.

The Serie A club paid a reported 22 million euros ($25.7 million) for Martinez, with the player penning a five-year contract.
