Al-Duweihees affirms authority’s participation in 1st tourism festival

KUWAIT CITY, July 5: Ahmadi Governor Sheikh Fawaz Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah met in his office Board Secretary and spokesperson of the Public Authority for Youth Faisal Al-Duweihees.

The two officials discussed participation of the authority in the first tourism festival which will be organized by the governorate in August.

The governor expressed appreciation and gratitude for the efforts exerted by the authority, specifically on matters related to Ahmadi Governorate.

Meanwhile, Al-Duweihees affirmed the authority’s participation in the first Ahmadi tourism festival was made possible due to the invitation from the governor. He said participation in the event is part of the authority’s strategy in supporting such activities.

Al-Duweihees disclosed the authority will participate in two main activities – one is the ‘Creative Bus’ which aims to encourage investors to organize a workshop in this regard, and the other will be through participation in the news network of youths who will highlight various activities and small projects.

Furthermore, Ahmadi Governor Sheikh Fawaz Khaled Al-Hamad AlSabah also recently received in his office Engineer Fares Al-Enezi – Deputy Director General for Operations at the National Fund for Development and Welfare of Small and Medium Projects.

While welcoming the guest, the governor affirmed that the governorate is keen on translating the directives of His Highness the Amir concerning the need to prioritize the welfare of the youth into reality. He applauded care shown by the government to the youth in all perspectives, noting all state agencies and departments are also committed in their responsibilities to the state. He reiterated the fund is among committed agencies, because it always gives fruitful support to the youth.
