Huawei P20 Pro shatters sales records in Kuwait
Outstanding sales performance shows consumers’ confidence in Huawei NBK honors students for academic excellence
KUWAIT CITY, July 17: Huawei Consumer Business Group today announced that the Huawei P20 Pro has become its bestselling smartphone device in Kuwait for 2018. Within three months of its launch, the Huawei P20 Pro has overtaken last year’s Huawei P10 Plus, outselling its predecessor by three times to become the most successful Huawei P series ever sold by Huawei in Kuwait.
The Huawei P20 Pro became a trending smartphone topic in Kuwait with customers since its global launch in Paris. It was launched in Kuwait alongside the luxurious Porsche Design Huawei Mate RS featuring 40 MP Leica Triple Camera with Master AI. The Huawei P20 Series devices currently sit on top of the DxOMark leaderboard, and are the first devices to break the threedigit rating threshold.
The announcement comes closely after the company broke news of its record-shattering sales on its ecommerce platform Vmall, where the handset maker generated 100 million RMB in revenue in the first 10 seconds the Huawei P20 Series was made available. While in Western Europe, Huawei P20 Pro is outselling its predecessor by 316%. Most of the sales of the Huawei P20 Series were derived from Germany, UK and France.
