CAN warns against exposure to sun
KUWAIT CITY, July 30: Director of Information Systems Center in the Ministry of Information Abeer Al-Awadi has affirmed that the ministry is keen on eliminating bureaucracy and paper transactions in a bid to develop administrative work and internal correspondences by using the electronic system in all sectors, reports AlQabas daily.
Speaking to the daily, Al-Awadi disclosed the development works include a number of programs, inspection teams and general record.
Cancer treatment specialist in the Cancer Aware Nation (CAN) Campaign Dr Mustafa Al-Shareefi has warned against exposure to the sun during midday in summer as this could lead to melanoma, aging diseases and freckles, reports Al-Seyassah daily. He also stressed the need to avoid exposure to solarium tanning booths due to their negative effects on the skin.
Actor Maitham Badr said his play, “Nani,” will be shown during the first three days of Eid Al-Adha at the theater of the Society Development Center in Qsoor, reports Al-Seyassah daily.
The cast includes Hamad Al-Omani, Samoud Al-Kandari, Iman Faisal, Khalid Ahmad, Ganna Al-Failakhawi, Iman AlHossaini, AbdulAzizi Bahbhani, Rahaf Mohamad, and Abdullah Haitham among others. Nawar Al-Quraini and Hanan Shihab wrote the script for the play which is under the direction of Mohammed Jamal Al-Shatti.
