MP Khalil Al-Saleh asked Durra Company for Recruitment of Domestic Workers why it is allowing expatriates to apply for hiring domestic workers when there are citizens who want to hire domestic workers, insisting that such a situation is unacceptable, reports Al-Anba daily.
He stressed that the company was established to end the suffering of citizens in terms of the high cost for recruiting domestic workers, calling on the concerned authorities to instruct the company to prioritize the applications of citizens. ‘Use of ‘wasta’ necessary’: According to a report issued by the International Monetary Fund (IMF), about 80 percent of Kuwaitis believe the use of ‘wasta’ (influence) is necessary to secure jobs, reports Al-Qabas daily.
