KFA names Jozak as first, Oly teams’ manager
Kuwait Football Association (KFA) announced Sunday the signing of Croatian coach Romeo Jozak to lead the first and Olympic teams for two years.
“There will be foreign assistants to the coach as well as local coaches,” KFA Chairman Sheikh Ahmad AlYousef Al-Sabah said in a press conference.
The new coach will be leading the Olympic team at his training camp in Munich, Germany, in August to prepare the team for the preliminary qualifiers
for 2020 Olympics in Tokyo, Japan, Sheikh Ahmad added.
Sheikh Ahmad noted that there will be two friendly matches, one with Australia on 15th of October, while the other one will be announced later.
The Croatian coach holds a Doctorate in Science (PhD), thesis in soccer, Faculty of Kinesiology, Zagreb, Croatia, managed several teams and he is also a UEFA Development and Technical Assistance Committee Member. (KUNA)
