A damsel in fashion distress

- By Nili Zahar

I’m told that vanity never served any that are looking for anything less than perfection. It is most definitely true, if that is what you want to achieve. Still I wonder, what is style or better yet stylishly suitable for you or me or anyone for that matter? We wonder in our colorful thoughts to find meaning and willingness to rise above it (and it is style) in a glamorous way. But yet again we lose our way, sometimes too little too late – for we are only humans born to make mistakes ... as that song said in the late 80s ... and in order to be rescued from errors we most definitely have to make them, then correct them, remedy them and move on ... and that is how we look, listen, then learn ... (remember these Triple Ls). Yet again some superior never dying styles and trends might never suit me or you or even you, no matter how blond you dye your hair or how much weight you lost at the gym, they just won’t be able to make a difference in the style that really does bring out the color and shape of your eyes and the healthy curves you so desperately want to cover.

Have you ever really wandered around the fashion stores, outlets and the runways, then wondered why I don’t like anything or nothing is as appropriate or appealing to me anymore? If you have been there then this is you, me and a million others that have felt this way , cause truly fashion is and always will be in the heart, and at the heart of the matter, of finding your true style in fashion.

I must have lost you there dear reader, my apologies, did not mean to. I think what I am trying to say is that what you feel better about, from inside is what would look great on you on the outside, cause we might not realize it, but trend is a feeling as well as a visual sense, that can either enhance your fashion game or just do the exact opposite and crush it.

You will most definitely know, once you had as many trials and errors as the next one, or once you had gone through many turbulent seasons of rain, eventually comes spring, with a promise of understanding who you are and what makes your heart comfy, full of joy with the clothes you wear, and then you have finally found your true self and true style and you are no longer the Fashion Damsel in Distress ....

Stay happy, safe and always fashionable with your choices.
