Cab driver en­tic­ing maids to flee spon­sors for daily ba­sis jobs held

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 13: The Crim­i­nal In­ves­ti­ga­tions De­part­ment (CID) men have ar­rested a Bangladeshi roam­ing taxi driver for in­sti­gat­ing do­mes­tic work­ers to es­cape from their spon­sors, shel­ter­ing them, find­ing them work on a daily ba­sis and re­ceiv­ing com­mis­sion, re­ports Al-Rai daily.

The driver was caught fol­low­ing in­ten­sive in­ves­ti­ga­tions. Dur­ing in­ter­ro­ga­tion he said he fre­quented res­i­den­tial ar­eas to meet do­mes­tic helpers and kept in touch with them un­til they de­cide to es­cape from the spon­sors.

The daily with­out go­ing into de­tails said the sus­pect has been handed over to the con­cerned au­thor­i­ties to take le­gal ac­tion against him.
