KUWAIT CITY, Oct 15: The powers are constitutionally vested in the legislative authority and not the government to apply the ruling of the Constitutional Court against the accused in storming the National Assembly former MPs Waleed Al-Tabtabaei and Jama’an Al-Harbish, reports Al-Anba daily quoting constitutional sources.
The sources explained the solution to this dilemma is through adherence to the application of the articles of the Constitution and the Regulations of the National Assembly.
The sources pointed out Article 62 of the regulation states that “if the member loses one of the conditions of Article 82 of the Constitution, which is related to the conditions of the voter according to the election law, the National Assembly shall issue its decision and the membership shall not be dissolved except with the approval of the majority of the National Assembly, excluding the member.

Meanwhile, National Assembly Speaker Marzouq Ali Al-Ghanim sent on Sunday a congratulation cable to the Director General of the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences (KFAS) Dr Adnan ShihabEldin on winning Elise and Walter A. Haas International Award.
In his cable, Al-Ghanim expressed his utmost appreciations to Dr Shihab-Eldin for the award, wishing him good health and prosperity.

He also disclosed training some beneficiaries in different industries such as sewing and other vocations, noting each trainee is given a sewing machine at the end of the program to cater for self and family after training.
He reiterated the step has contributed to nurture a generation having vocations they can trust; indicating, workshops on electrical, air conditioning, and welding were also included.
