Couple caught drunk:
A Kuwaiti citizen and his 18-year old Kuwaiti girlfriend were arrested for consuming liquor. The man was also accused of abusing, threatening and locking up the girl inside a bathroom.
According to security sources, when the Operations Room of Ministry of Interior received a distress call from a Kuwaiti girl who said her friend locked her up inside a bathroom, securitymen rushed to the location after obtaining a warrant from the Public Prosecution. The caretaker of the building took them to the flat and knocked on the door. A man opened the door, and when he was asked about the girl, he said he is alone in the flat. However, the girl started shouting for help from inside the bathroom. Securitymen rushed into the flat and broke open the bathroom door.
It was eventually discovered that the two were drinking liquor but the man was highly intoxicated. They were taken to the police station of the area where necessary action was taken. Cross-dressers fight: A quarrel broke out between two cross-dressers inside a commercial complex in Salmiya area, resulting in a hand injury to one of them.
When the Operations Room of Ministry of Interior received information about the quarrel, securitymen and paramedics rushed to the location. They were informed that the two suspects fled from the location after the security guard of the commercial complex called the police.
Records of the CCTV cameras installed at the complex were handed over to the securitymen who launched investigations to find and arrest the suspects.
Drifter’s car on fire:
A vehicle went up in flames during a drifting session by its owner with a group of youths in Jahra.
Acting on information, firemen went to the location and dealt with the situation. Initial investigation revealed that the motorist was drifting when suddenly the vehicle caught fire. No injuries were reported.
