The Center for Researches and Studies on Kuwait has sent a letter to the Cabinet to object the selection of an Arab national library for archiving sensitive documents related to valuation and update of information concerning citizens and members of the Sabah ruling family, reports Aljarida daily.

The center expressed concerns over manipulation or forging of the documents, insisting that such a move is against national security.

It explained that the Expropriation Department of Kuwait Municipality and Ministry of Finance had floated a tender for the restoration and archiving of documents. The tender was settled in favor of a private company, which nominated an Arab national library to carry out the project.

The center revealed that it has assigned a committee to examine the documents, after which it was discovered that they included very sensitive documents including some concerning lawsuits that are currently with the court.
