ASSP participates in Kuwait HSS Forum
American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSP), Kuwait Chapter is a premier voluntary, non-profit making Health, Safety and Environmental organization, which strives to provide professional guidance, training, consultancy and resources to the industrial and social sectors in the region.
As part of continuous efforts in promoting HSE Awareness and sharing best Practices across the region, ASSPKuwait Chapter participated in the Kuwait Health, Safety & Security (HSS) Forum 2018 which was held from 24th-25th September 2018 at JW Marriot Hotel, Kuwait. The event was under the patronage of His Excellency Dr Basel Hamoud Hamad AlSabah, Minister of Health, State of Kuwait. The forum featured key presentations and Panel Discussions on various HSE Subjects and Exhibition where Vendors showcased their products and Services. ASSP Kuwait Chapter showcased its activities and Voluntary services through the Exhibition Booth, As part of providing professional Development Opportunities, The Executive Committee provided opportunities for five ASSP members to attend the forum on behalf of ASSP Kuwait Chapter. Mazharuddin Shaikh, head Training Committee, ASSP Kuwait Chapter, delivered a technical presentation on electronic management of change (eMoC) system on behalf of American Society of Safety Professionals, Kuwait chapter.
