‘Kuwait Au­dit Bureau’ dis­cusses co-op with Prince Charles’ agency

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov10, (KUNA): A del­e­ga­tion of Kuwait Au­dit Bureau has held talks with of­fi­cials of Prince Charles’ sustainable de­vel­op­ment agency on co­op­er­a­tion is­sues.

Iman Al-Hwaidi, first mem­ber at the diwan tech­ni­cal bureau for su­per­vi­sion on in­de­pen­dent au­thor­i­ties, said in a state­ment to KUNA on Fri­day that the dis­cus­sions were held af­ter con­clu­sion of the World Congress of Ac­coun­tants, hosted by the Aus­tralian city Syd­ney.

Prince Charles’ agency is one of the lead­ing or­ga­ni­za­tions in ac­coun­tancy and sus­tain­abil­ity, AlHwaidi said.

Re­gard­ing the con­ven­tion, she said the Kuwaiti del­e­ga­tion, headed by the bureau act­ing chair­man, Adel Al-Saraawi, at­tended a large num­ber of sym­po­siums that ad­dressed a host of is­sues, namely em­ploy­ment of in­for­ma­tion tech­nol­ogy.

Al-Hwaidi added that she had per­son­ally show­cased on the congress side­lines the bureau pol­icy of con­tin­u­ous mod­ern­iza­tion of its works.

The four-day event brought to­gether more than 6,000 par­tic­i­pants from 130 coun­tries.
