The Public Relations and Media Security General Department at the Ministry of Interior has appealed to citizens and expatriates to be careful due to the current weather conditions, stressing the need to follow safety and security regulations, reports Alrai daily.

Meanwhile, the Public Relations and Media Department at Kuwait Fire Service Directorate revealed that the firefighting teams carried out 25 rescue operations during the rainstorm.

The department said the first call was about some people stuck in a damaged vehicle, indicating most of the calls were on this kind of situation as well as flooding in houses in Ahmadi Governorate. It added the elderly and disabled were among those rescued.
