BSK students receive Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards
Maria Elias The British School of Kuwait (BSK) is delighted to have received notification from Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE) examination board of a number of Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards recognising the exceptional success of their students in the summer 2018 examination session.
A total of four students received five awards, with former Year 12 student Mark Sedhom receiving a High Achievement Award for AS Level Computer Science. Mark is
Mark Sedhom now pursuing his undergraduate studies in Computer Science, Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Toronto. Current Sixth Form student Rekha Ravikumar received both a High Achievement Award for IGCSE Design and Technology as well as the Top in Kuwait Award for IGCSE Economics for her hard work during Year 11. Another of our current Sixth Formers, Maria Elias excelled in her IGCSE Geography course, receiving the Top in Kuwait Award for this subject. Another high achiever was former Year 11 student
Rekha Ravikumar Narrayan Raam Sankar, who achieved the Top in Kuwait Award for IGCSE English Literature.
These are remarkable achievements by any standards and congratulations are due to the students, as well as their teachers and parents. The current Year 11 and Sixth Form students who will soon be taking their mock and midyear examination will be looking to follow in the footsteps of their role models and will be aiming for similarly great heights in the forthcoming examination sessions.
