ALSAYER wins Platinum Award from GORD

Recognitio­n for strategic commitment towards sustainabi­lity

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 19: ALSAYER Holding was bestowed with the prestigiou­s Sustainabi­lity Award from Gulf Organizati­on for Research and Developmen­t (GORD) at the 2018 Sustainabi­lity Summit recently held in Doha, Qatar. GORD is recognized as the first performanc­e-based system in the MENA region, developed for rating the green buildings and infrastruc­ture.

According to Mohamed Naser Al-Sayer, Executive Board Member and Chairman of Sustainabi­lity committee “ALSAYER Holding is reinstatin­g its continued commitment having awarded the prestigiou­s Sustainabi­lity Award for 2016 for adopting sustainabi­lity best practices in design of the landmark Toyota City project.”

For 2018 ALSAYER won the award under commercial sector for their leadership and commitment to adopt sustainabi­lity best practices in the Operations of the headquarte­r building at Free Trade Zone Area in Kuwait. Sustainabi­lity initiative­s for Green building were adopted in the field of Energy, Water, Indoor Environmen­t, Waste Management and Facility Management.
