Relations with UAE solid: Kuwait’s foreign minister
Kuwaiti defense minister congratulates UAE on National Day
KUWAIT CITY, Dec 3, (KUNA): Deputy Premier and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah Sunday described as “solid” relations with the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
“We admire the achievement in the United Arab Emirates which succeeded in a short period to be among the advanced countries, because of hard work, dedication and good management,” Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled told reporters on sidelines of a reception held by UAE Embassy marking the country’s National Day.
He paid tribute to late UAE President Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al-Nahyan who had a great role in building the country.
Deputy Foreign Minister Khaled Al-Jarallah also commended the UAE for the numerous accomplishments.
He wished success and progress for the UAE and its people.
Meanwhile, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Sheikh Nasser Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah sent a cable on Sunday to UAE’s Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammad bin Rashid Al-Maktoum, congratulating him on his country’s 47th National Day.
Sheikh Nasser sent a similar cable to the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces Sheikh Mohammad bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, the defense ministry’s moral guidance and public relations directorate said in a press statement.
Sheikh Nasser also sent a similar cable to Emirati Minister of State for Defense Affairs Mohammad bin Ahmed Al Bowardi.
Sheikh Nasser wished UAE perpetual progress and prosperity under the wise leadership of President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al-Nahyan.
