Raids on kindergartens:
Deputy Head of Emergency Team at the Capital Municipality Zaid Al-Anzi disclosed that the sector in November 2018 removed 1602 advertisements and 31 encroachments from State property, and issued 62 citations against various violations, reports Al-Seyassah daily.
In a statement, Al-Anzi said the inspectors evacuated 19 groceries and kindergartens, and issued 193 warning letters, in addition to 45 construction violations and 16 violations related to hygiene.
KCCI, PAFN forum:
Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI), in collaboration with the Public Authority for Food and Nutrition (PAFN), Wednesday morning organized a forum at headquarters of the chamber to discuss health conditions for some means of transporting foodstuff, and regulations governing imported foods. Participants were intimated with the latest developments concerning health conditions.
The forum was chaired by the chamber’s Deputy Director General Emad Abdullah Al-Zaid, while Public Authority for Food and Nutrition was represented by its Deputy Director General for Technical Affairs Dr Mona Al-Fulaij, Deputy Director General for Inspection and Monitoring Dr Amal Al-Rushdan, and Yousef Al-Qudairi from the Legal Affairs Department. The attendance included representatives of several manufacturing companies, producers and importers of foodstuff in Kuwait.
