Al Roudhan explained: “We value the great efforts exerted by the Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority (KDIPA), represented by its Director General Sheikh Dr Meshaal Jaber Al Ahmad Al Sabah, to attract investments to Kuwait and further push the Kuwaiti investment and economic wheel. This will greatly enrich the areas of entrepreneurship and innovation in the country, as well as achieve sustainable development, create job opportunities, and diversify income sources. This is especially true within technology areas and extensions of the digital transformation process in various industries”.
Al Roudhan stressed: “Kuwait has huge financial and human potentials that allow us to be at the forefront of leading nations in technology and innovation. Zain’s presence in this event today, as one of the biggest integrated digital service providers in the region, is without doubt a reflection of the advanced position Kuwait enjoys in digital transformation and the development of the country’s digital infrastructure”.
Al Roudhan pointed out that Zain’s digital transformation journey began two years ago with the company’s partnership with the Ministry of Electricity and Water through the Smart Meters project. Early this year, Zain launched the all-new Zain LIFE brand, which consists of a portfolio of flexible digital services that include an array of innovative services, further enriching Zain’s leadership in offering the latest digital transformation applications.
Zain considers itself an active partner in creating the future of smart life in Kuwait, as well as empowering the community though the use of advanced technologies such as Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Smart Cities, and more. This motivated Zain to take part in this conference to enrich the role played by private sector companies in achieving the developmental goals of the country.
