Two days left for NBK Walkathon

Executive Management to take part in walkathon

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 5: Two days left for the National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) Walkathon registration. The Walkathon will be held on Saturday, Dec 8, 2018. The Walkathon Center, in the Green Island, will be open till the end of today (Thursday 6th of December) from 1:00 pm until 9:00 pm.

NBK Group CEO Issam J. AlSager, NBK Deputy Group CEO Shaikha Al-Baher, NBK-Kuwait CEO Salah Yousef Al-Fulaij and NBK-Kuwait Deputy CEO and NBK General Manager, Treasury Group, Sulaiman Barrak Al-Marzouq, NBK General Manager, Consumer Banking Group, Mohammad Al-Othman and NBK General Manager Group Human Resources, Emad Al-Ablani were welcomed at the NBK Walkathon Center as they prepared to take part in the Dec 8 event.

Thousands of participants have signed up for this annual festival. NBK’s Walkathon is marked by a variety of fun, entertainment and health awareness activities. NBK will award the top 10 winners in each category, and will give away two brand new Nissan cars from AlBabtain Group, as grand prizes during the Walkathon along with many other valuable prizes.

Ten winners will be selected from each of the 10 categories of participants.

The walk for both the female and male participants will start from Green Island on the Gulf Road to the Shuwaikh Beach Park, parallel to the Gulf Road, next to KPC building for a distance of 11 Km.

NBK strongly supports sporting events and encourages various sporting activities as means to promote a healthier and more active lifestyle for members of the community. Throughout the year, NBK also organizes several social awareness programs including educational, environmental, health and many other active initiatives.
