Jahra Bilingual Academy celebrates Colors Day

Grade 1A – rainbow colors Jahra Bilingual Academy (JBA) celebrated Colors Day last week as part of the ongoing school program promoting education through fun. In the opening of the event, Dr Oana Al Najjar, JBA Principal, held a speech about the importance of learning through entertaini­ng activities. Next, every class presented either a special artistic program or an art display on an assigned color. Joseph’s Grade1A sang about rainbow and they were dressed up in various colors. The students of Grade 2A- Ms Celsa displayed posters and explained the benefits of various red color fruits. Grade 3A, under the

Grade 5A – multi-color presentati­on supervisio­n of Ms Sanela, dressed in blue, recited poems with reference to colors and then played color games. Grades 4 to 8 had interestin­g presentati­ons on different aspects related to the topic.The students decorated their classrooms as well as the school playground with their own art work and color balloons. The event’s guest of honor was Dr Eng Akram Al Najjar, JBA general manager and owner. In the end, all JBA students and teachers enjoyed a picnic comprised of delicious food of all colors.
