Jordanian media delegation hails Kuwait’s humanitarian, aid efforts

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 6, (KUNA): A visiting Jordanian media delegation praised on Tuesday the humanitarian and relief role played by Kuwait in various areas around the world.
The delegation members made the remarks during a visit to the Kuwaiti Red Crescent Society (KRSC), where they met Deputy Chairman Anwar Al-Hasawi who briefed them on KRSC efforts in the humanitarian and relief fields.
In a statement to KUNA, Director General of Jordan News Agency Mohammad Al-Omari praised Kuwait’s diversified efforts in providing relief to those affected by crises and in need.
“This was not surprising by Kuwait under the leadership of the humanitarian leader, His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah,” Al-Omari said.
Al-Omari also praised KRCS relief and aid operations in many parts of the world.
Al-Omari expressed his admiration and appreciation to KRCS, which become a landmark in the fields of humanitarian work and humanitarian issues.
For his part, Jordanian Journalists’ Syndicate Chairman Rakan Al-Sa’aida said that efforts exerted by KRCS and its humanitarian work were exceptional, stressing that the humanitarian and charity work in Kuwait is characterized by great generosity and relief to those in need.
Al-Sa’aida added that Kuwait deserved to be a center for humanitarian work thanks to efforts by its rulers, successive governments, institutions, and civil society organizations.

Speaker of the National Assembly Marzouq Ali Al-Ghanim received on Tuesday at his office the Jordanian media and journalists’ delegation, currently on an official visit to the country – led by head of Jordanian journalists union Rakan Al-Sa’aida.
The Jordanian delegation also includes the Director General of Jordanian News Agency (PETRA) Mohammad AlOmari, Jefra’s website Editor-in-Chief Nedal Fara’ne, Al-Dustour newspaper’s Editor-in-Chief Mustafa Riyalat, beside other journalists.
The meeting was attended by MPs Mubarak Al-Harees, Abdullah AlEnezi and Ali Al-Degbasi, as well as Assistant Undersecretary for Media Affairs at the Ministry of Information Faisal AlMetlegim, and Director of Arab Countries Media at the Ministry, Lulwah AlSalem.
