KIB participates in 2nd annual Career Fair organised by PAAET

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 8: KIB participated in the 2nd annual career fair which was organized by the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training (PAAET), under the Graduates Followup & Labor Market Directorate. The career fair was held under the patronage of the Director General of PAAET, Dr Ali Al-Mudhaf, and took place at one of the halls adjacent to the Authority’s new building in Shuwaikh.
The career fair aimed at educating local youth who are attending schools, institutes, colleges, as well as university graduates, about the various career opportunities available in their areas of study. Additionally, the exhibition showcased other development opportunities in education, employment, and training across various other areas.
KIB’s participation in this career fair came as part of its leading social responsibility program, which focuses on participating in various job exhibitions for both private and public universities throughout the year. In an effort to empower youth and students, the bank participates in these events to provide students with training and employment opportunities that are in line with their career path.
The recruitment team from the HRD at KIB participated in the exhibition through a special booth designated for the bank. During the event, the team presented students and visitors with various job opportunities currently offered by the bank. Additionally, the team introduced students to the nature of working at different departments within a bank, as well as KIB’s employment policy and its career development strategy. Students were also introduced to the working environment, various banking concepts and the world of Islamic Banking.
KIB has always sought to participate in events that empower local ambitious youth. Accordingly, the bank has implemented an employment policy that focuses on employing the right person for the right role, as well as developing the skills and capabilities of its human capital. By doing so, KIB aims at motivating staff in order to achieve exceptional levels of productivity and efficiency, thereby preparing them to become leaders capable of building a better future for the nation.
