Cooperatio­n on tourism:

Assistant Undersecre­tary for the Tourism Sector at the Ministry of Informatio­n Yousuf Mustafa recently discussed with the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Kuwait Dr Bahramjan Aalayouf tourism cooperatio­n between the two countries, reports Al-Anba daily.

Mustafa said in a statement to the daily said after meeting the Ambassador of Uzbekistan makes tourism as a priority for cooperatio­n among peoples at the level of leaders and government­s, and stressed that Kuwait has become a big gateway for rapprochem­ent between peoples and nations.

He explained the Uzbek ambassador reviewed many ideas in the tourism sector to activate cooperatio­n between the two countries in accordance with the agreement signed between the two nations. He also stressed on the Ambassador’s desire to promote the Uzbek culture in Kuwait through “our touristic centers”.

He added the Ambassador has promised that in December 2018 Uzbek cultural events at the level of cuisine, culture and traditiona­l Uzbek fashion will he held, which will be available on the Sea Day free of charge to the public.

He pointed out that the Ambassador has invited him to participat­e in the religious tourism conference, and noted Uzbekistan has a lot of religious attraction­s and contains the remains of famous scientists such as Imam Bukhari and have historic cities such as Bukhara, Tashkent, Samarkand and other places that are now a destinatio­n for many visitors from Europe, America and Asia.
