‘Dissolution right decision’

From the time I was young I have always believed that women are better able than men to perform many difficult tasks. I also believed that a woman is more capable of resisting administrative corruption because of her innate inclination to protect her reputation and desire to protect the respect of her family, stay away from physical and verbal problems and violence, and the Minister of Social Affairs and Labor Hind Al-Subeeh and most of her predecessors in high government positions are good examples of what I say.
The extent to which this woman (the minister) is subjected to pressures, temptations showed the truth of her essence and the belief of the government leadership in her capabilities and integrity.
The dissolution of the Al-Salam Charity Society is affiliated financially to an outstanding religious personality and a former government official located in an area within his influence, so the decision did not come arbitrarily, and it was not an easy decision. Therefore, many warnings preceded the dissolution of the society.
The decision came on the basis of repeated administrative and financial violations despite the more than once warning, said the Undersecretary of the ministry Sa’ad Al-Kharaz. The society’s officials also admitted to the offenses but they described them as serious enough to make the ministry take up the dissolution decision.
The owners of the Society have no options but to resort to the judiciary to dismiss the decision of the minister if they feel that it is arbitrary or unjust, and here I doubt that they will reach a satisfactory result. The ministry does not usually take such serious decisions against a charity association.
It was therefore painful to see the comments of MP Riyadh Al-Adsani. Despite the prestige and reputation of this deputy, his position is not correct here. His comments are against an honest minister, but she has always dissolved charities and issued citations against violating cooperative societies, as he said. I and others are well aware that the previous decisions of the minister in these areas have been sound.
It is strange that MP Al-Adsani said the decision of dissolving any charity, cooperative or similar other institutions falls within the powers of the executive authority although he is a legislator who knows how to correct this matter by submitting a law to control the ministry and prevent it from dissolving any association without a judicial ruling.
If that happens, we will see looting of money in many associations, especially those which are not being monitored before issuing the final judgment, which may take years, sufficient period to loot from any association and fully cover up all its irregularities.
No, Mr Riyadh, things are tackled in this way.
