Out­stand­ing stu­dents batch vis­its Ta­jik projects

A pic­ture of the out­stand­ing stu­dents in Ta­jik­istan. The group of “Be Among the Ex­cel­lent” male out­stand­ing stu­dents jour­ney, or­ga­nized by Kuwait Fund for Arab Eco­nomic De­vel­op­ment (KFAED), vis­ited on Sun­day two on­go­ing projects funded by KFAED in Ta­jik­istan.

The Kuwaiti del­e­ga­tion vis­ited the first project in Dang­hara for ir­ri­gat­ing the val­ley, funded with by KFAED KD 4 mil­lion (USD 13.1 mil­lion).

The project aims to in­crease agri­cul­tural pro­duc­tion, job op­por­tu­ni­ties and en­hance the coun­try econ­omy.

In a state­ment for KUNA, the Di­rec­tor of the project, Ebrahim Zada, said in four vil­lages, ap­prox­i­mately 14,000 fam­i­lies have ben­e­fited from this ven­ture.

The del­e­ga­tion vis­ited the sec­ond project re­build­ing a road in Ko­lab, funded with KD 7.5 mil­lion (USD 25 mil­lion).

On his part, the di­rec­tor of the project, Zafar Sharif, said this project “helped in re­ha­bil­i­tat­ing the roads of Ko­lab and sav­ing a lot of ef­fort and time in trans­port­ing peo­ple and goods.” (KUNA)
