Chinese Association in Kuwait jointly with Holiday Inn Salmiya organized a New Year welcome party in style at Holiday Inn Hotel, Salmiya. Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to the State of Kuwait HE Li Minggang graced the event along with other Kuwaiti and foreign dignitaries. A large number of Chinese community in Kuwait attended the Welcome Eve. Ambassador HE Li Minggang congratulated audience on the occasion of Chinese New Year and conveyed his regards to the foreign friends. He said that Kuwait-China relationship is becoming stronger day by day especially after the visit of HH Amir of Kuwait to China last year where Kuwait and China signed Strategy Cooperation Partnership and working hard for the Kuwait Vision 2035 and China “One Belt – One Road” huge projects.

Chairman Chinese Association in Kuwait, Taikang Dong congratulated Chinese community in Kuwait on the occasion of Chinese New Year and conveyed his best wishes to audience and people of Kuwait. He thanked all the esteemed guests for joining with Chinese community in Kuwait to celebrate Lunar Year party and prayed that this New Year will bring prosperity and joy to everyone.

On this occasion, talented members of Chinese community in Kuwait presented the performance of ballet dance and piano. Whole session was harmonious and full of vitality. Chinese community and foreign friends enjoyed the performances thoroughly. After beautiful performances, Chinese Association in Kuwait hosted a lavish dinner in Tang Zhao Restaurant, Holiday Inn, Salmiya to take a glimpse of Chinese traditional and orthodox food.
