Kuwait camel race depicts heritage: info minister

Minister of Information, Minister of State for Youth Affairs Mohammad Al-Jabri on Saturday said Kuwait’s 19th camel race depicts heritage of Kuwait and the whole Arab region.

Minister Al-Jabri, in a statement after inaugurating the championship at the Martyr Fahad Al-Ahmad Track at the Kuwait Club for Camel Race, said the Amir-patronized championship draws a large number of fans. He congratulated winners of the first round. Meanwhile, the club chairman, Hussein AlDawas, said the Kuwaiti-owned camels “scored excellent results in 10 races including two major ones.”
