Failure to success:

The magic turned on the magician after a professor at the Faculty of Dar Al Uloom at Cairo University discovered that a Kuwaiti female student had earned ‘excellent’ grade, despite the fact that she was not present in the country and had failed in the higher exam, reports Al-Qabas daily.

The professor filed a lawsuit and senior officials in the higher education were involved in the case. The professor challenged the decision of the administrative department which promoted the student to the next stage in view of the student’s violation of the law and her success and progress in the academic stage despite her failure.

The newspaper reported that the student had failed in 7 subjects when the results were announced in May 2018, but the results were changed in September of the same year and the student was promoted to the next stage, considering it as a national security issue affecting the reputation of Egyptian universities, according to the lawsuit.
