Panel to receive applications:

Minister of Awqaf and Minister of Municipal Affairs Fahd Al-Shula announced the formation of a committee to receive applications for supervisory positions in the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs, reports Al-Anba daily.

In a statement to the daily, Al-Shula said the official announcement will be made within days on the opening of the door to accept and interview those wishing to take up supervisory positions to fill vacancies in the ministry.

Al-Shula stressed justice and equality will be taken into account when filling these vacancies based on efficiency of the candidate,

On the organization of the construction of mosques in Kuwait, the Minister said he has issued a decree to form a committee comprising members from the Municipality and Awqaf and the task of the members is to cooperate in determining the location of mosques and the role of the Holy Quran and the homes of imams and muezzins taking into account the distance between each mosque.
