Huge turnout at Martyrs Bureau ‘Shukran3’ marathon

The Martyrs Bureau, which is affiliated to the Amiri Diwan, recently organized the third annual marathon titled “Shukran3,” under the sponsorship of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.

Director of the bureau Fatmah Al-Amir disclosed that this year’s competition covered four kilometers, adding that 600 citizens and expatriates competed under various age groups.

She said the annual marathon is part of the national days celebrations; indicating the citizens and expatriates were invited to this edition, while the last edition was limited to those who worked during the Iraqi invasion and the first edition was for the citizens of allied forces nations.
