Kuwait, S.Korea share similar views on peaceful resolution of conflicts

MP Al-Damkhi heads friendship group

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 11, (KUNA): Kuwait and South Korea share strong political ties and similar views on neutrality and resolving conflicts peacefully, said head of the fifth parliamentary friendship group MP Adel Al-Damkhi.

Al-Damkhi made his remarks in a press statement on Monday, after his meetings with visiting Deputy Speaker of South Korea’s National Assembly Lee Ju-young and the executive secretary of the parliament’s Foreign Affairs and Unification Committee.

The group visited a number of health institutions and the South Korean parliament, said Al-Damkhi, adding that they invited Speaker of the Korean National Assembly to visit Kuwait.

The friendship group delegation headed to South Korea and Sri Lanka on Saturday on an official visit until Feb 16. The group also includes MPs Abdullah Al-Anezi and Nayif AlMerdas.
